Job Summary
Provide customer service for basic and routine inquiries via telephone, email, web chats, or written letters. Use computerized systems for tracking, information gathering, and troubleshooting. Assist callers with filling out online applications and submit them electronically to plan providers. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of client regulations and policies while adhering to privacy and HIPAA rules. Refer calls to senior staff or CSR Leads as required. Complete basic call logs and provide feedback on call trends, processes, and procedures. Participate in internal CCO training and Tier I Claims training. Work on-site in El Paso, TX, Monday through Saturday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with evening and night shifts preferred. Earn $16.91 per hour plus a 10% shift differential for night hours.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 6 months of customer service experience
- Fluency in English
- Fluency in a specified secondary language
- Ability to work within established turnaround times
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to organize simultaneous tasks
- Ability to work as a member of a team
- Regular and predictable attendance
- Participation and certification in internal CCO training
- On-site work location
- Physical presence at the worksite
- Ability to perform duties on-site
- Meeting attendance requirements
- Completion of at least one year of employment with above-average performance (for remote work consideration)
- Ability to work overtime
- Ability to work scheduled holidays
