Job Summary
Collaborate with consulting engineers during the design stage to support product selection, system optimization, and performance calculations. Conduct virtual and in-person training workshops and technical presentations to position Armstrong solutions as the Basis of Design for sustainable projects. Track project progress from design through award stages, communicate status to the sales team, and manage assigned territory using CRM tools. Build long-term relationships with key industry influencers and participate in trade shows and conferences to represent the company. Provide timely customer feedback to marketing and product development teams while analyzing competitor activity to identify growth opportunities. Contribute to regional sales planning sessions and produce market activity reports.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in French
- Post-secondary technical degree or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum 5 years of sales experience working with engineering, manufacturing and distribution operations in an industrial environment
- Strong understanding of HVAC systems, pumps, controls, and energy optimization principles
- Experience using product selection software
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a matrix environment
- Willingness to travel within assigned territory for client meetings and industry events
