Job Summary
Assist customers inside and outside the U-Haul Center with products and services. Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory. Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers. Clean and inspect equipment on the lot, including checking fluid levels. Answer customer questions and educate them regarding products and services. Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rentals. This role requires a valid driver's license and the ability to move equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license and ability to maintain a good driving record
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
- Must be able to lift 23 kg
- Must be able to move equipment
- Must be able to move around an office
- Must be able to position oneself to reach objects at varying heights
- Must be able to remain stationary for long periods
- Must be able to move around outdoors
- Must be able to work around moving parts or machines
- Must be able to work around fumes or irritant chemicals
- Must be able to wear protective clothing or gear such as masks, goggles, gloves or shields
- Must not use nicotine products
