Job Summary
RePower Program - Project Engineering role at Cummins center in Troy, MI. Six-month paid return-to-work program for experienced professionals with 5+ years of prior work experience; entails end-to-end product development, failure mode avoidance, modeling & simulation, interface integration, and data-driven problem solving. Responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and executing product development activities; identifying and mitigating potential failure modes; influencing design decisions through computational modeling and analysis; defining interfaces across system boundaries; conducting root-cause analysis and implementing corrective actions; developing and executing verification/validation plans; translating stakeholder needs into verifiable system requirements; and capturing/communicating technical knowledge to enable collaboration and improved engineering productivity. Potential transition to full-time employment upon program completion. Location is Troy, MI; on-site with flexibility.
