Job Summary
Reporting Specialist (Regulatory Reporting) within Group Finance responsible for coordinating and fulfilling regulator reporting requirements, performing analytical reviews of reports, providing senior management with regulatory metrics, maintaining data quality and a solid control framework, representing ING to regulators, and explaining financial developments to stakeholders. Requires IFRS and regulatory know-how, 5 years in banking regulatory reporting, fluency in English, and a Master degree. The role involves cross-department coordination, ad hoc data requests, and contributing to process improvements in a dynamic, internationally oriented environment with hybrid working.
Required Qualifications
- Master degree in accounting, finance, business administration or finance and control (or equivalent)
- At least 5 years of working experience within the banking sector, preferably in financial or regulatory reporting
- Familiarity with IFRS and regulatory requirements (CRR / BRRD)
- Fluent in English, both written and verbal
- Strong analytical skills and ability to analyse large data sets
- Pro-active attitude and ability to operate in a demanding and changing environment
- Team player able to collaborate across functions and gain buy-in to meet tight deadlines
- Good communication and persuasion skills; ability to present complex issues clearly to internal and external stakeholders
