Job Summary
Reporting Specialist responsible for creating and maintaining the reporting framework, understanding and working on reporting requirements from business, analyzing available data to identify improvement areas, and presenting and visualizing conclusions. Emphasis on continual improvement and development of reporting processes. Requires strong English, hands-on experience with Excel, SharePoint, and BI/visualization tools (Tableau or Power BI), ServiceNow reporting, IT Service Desk concepts, and SQL/MSSQL skills, plus familiarity with ticketing tools. The role offers home office options, a modern working environment, and opportunities for intensive, practical training within an IT-focused organization.
Required Qualifications
- Strong English skills
- Practical experience with M365 tools (Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
- Basic experience with Tableau Desktop and Tableau Prep Builder OR Power BI
- Experience in visualization in Tableau or Power BI
- Basic to advanced knowledge of ServiceNow reporting platform
- Understanding the operational concept of an IT Service Desk
- Basic experience with ticketing tools (e.g. SNOW, Salesforce, HP Service Manager)
- Excel VBA knowledge is a plus
- SQL-related knowledge: MSSQL queries, SSMS, CRUD operations, ability to create/maintain basic table structures
- Knowledge of string manipulation (LEFT, RIGHT, SUBSTRING, CONCAT, LTRIM, RTRIM, TRIM, REPLACE)
- Date manipulation functions (DATEDIFF, DATEADD, DATEPART, DATEFROMPARTS)
- Aggregate functions (SUM, AVG, COUNT, MAX, MIN)
- Filtering and sorting clauses (TOP, DISTINCT, WHERE, HAVING, ORDER BY)
- Joins and subqueries
- Use of views
- Basic troubleshooting for query errors and syntax issues
- Import and Export Wizard
- Familiarity with data types and their appropriate use
- Comfortable with creating and interpreting MSSQL queries
