Job Summary
Reporting & Data Analyst 1 responsible for generating and analyzing Life & Securities Surveillance reports (agent activity, life policies, mutual funds, annuities, managed accounts), identifying and developing new reports, validating data integrity, and communicating findings to senior management. The role includes preparing and delivering reports and briefings for senior leadership, maintaining knowledge of products and regulatory updates, publishing organizational bulletins, administering system access, handling BISO-related requests, collaborating with cross-functional teams on compliance initiatives, troubleshooting reporting issues, performing User Acceptance Testing, and developing documentation for procedures, report criteria, testing, and validation. This is a hybrid position requiring 2 days on-site at the Duluth, GA office and 3 days remote per week; compensation range is $45k-$55k annually. Skills emphasized include SQL, Access, Excel (including VBA), data analysis, report design, PowerBI, strong communication, and ability to work with IT, management, and vendors.
Required Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Data Analyst
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with programmers, coordinators, technical support teams, management, and third-party vendors
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks, projects, and systems simultaneously
- Foundational knowledge of SQL, database design, Microsoft Access, and Excel, including experience creating tables, queries, forms, and reports; familiarity with VBA is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Office; PowerBI experience is desired
- FLSA status: Exempt (not overtime)
