Job Summary
The Ohio State University&Wexner Medical Center seeks a Reporting & Analytics Consultant to develop and implement tools and strategies that transform raw data into actionable business insights across OSUWMC units. Responsibilities include designing data models, performing predictive analytics, creating dashboards, ensuring data accuracy, and supporting data-driven decisions by leaders across Heart & Vascular Service Line and related units. The role requires advanced SQL, NoSQL, data visualization (Power BI/Tableau/QlikView), experience with multiple data sources (on-premises and cloud), and certification in Epic Cognito/Clarity/Caboodle (Lean Six Sigma Green Belt preferred). The position is based at Ross Heart Hospital in Columbus, OH, with full-time hours and a standard 40-hour workweek. Benefits are provided, and a background check/drug screen may be required post-offer.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- six years of relevant experience
- Certification in Epic Cognito, Clarity, Caboodle, or similar platforms is required
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification
- Strong SQL skills
- NoSQL knowledge
- Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView)
- Experience with data mining and predictive analytics
- Ability to design and implement processes for data accuracy and reporting
