Reporting Analyst

Job Summary
Analyst focused on financial services and reporting to support donor-compliant financial operations, monthly closings, and variance analyses across projects and cost centers. Responsibilities include processing and reconciling transactions, preparing monthly financial reports, assisting in consolidation, maintaining internal controls, supporting audits, coordinating with NO Finance, Program staff, and field teams, validating journal entries, and ensuring audit-ready documentation. Requires a first degree in Accounting/Finance, GAAP knowledge, strong Excel skills, and at least 3 years of finance experience; ACCA/CIMA is advantageous. The role collaborates with Sun System and other platforms, emphasizes transparency and accountability, and targets timely, accurate reporting for leadership and donors. Location: Lilongwe, Malawi.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Accounting or Finance
- ACCA or CIMA will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a finance role
- Excellent computer literacy, especially in MS Excel
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge of preparing financial statements and reports
- Ability to perform complex financial analyses
- Ability to work with minimum supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
