Job Summary
Analyst - Financial Services and Reporting responsible for supporting accurate financial operations and reporting to ensure donor compliance and organizational standards. Responsibilities include processing and reconciling financial transactions, preparing monthly financial reports, assisting in consolidation of project and organizational accounts, conducting variance analysis, maintaining general ledger and Chart of Accounts in Sun System, coordinating with Shared Services, supporting audits, and providing actionable financial insights to leadership. The role requires collaboration with NO Finance, Program staff, and field teams to ensure grant information is accurately reported and audit-ready.
Required Qualifications
- First degree in Accounting or Finance
- A professional qualification such as ACCA or CIMA will be an advantage
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a finance role
- Excellent computer literacy skills, especially in MS Excel
- In-depth working knowledge of GAAP
- Knowledge of preparing financial statements and reports
- Able to perform complex financial analyses
- Able to work with minimum supervision
- Articulate and communicate ideas well verbally and in writing
