Job Summary
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data needs and create reports that meet business requirements while analyzing data to develop observations and findings. Conduct quality control, communicate findings, and obtain stakeholder sign-off before implementing reports into production. Prepare ad hoc analyses, research moderately complex issues, and develop reports in support of reporting requirements. Analyze and interpret data to make recommendations that improve reporting processes and support business operations development. Work alongside Developers and System Architects to translate requirements into system concepts of operations. This role supports a global IT staffing firm's client in the Baltimore, MD area, focusing on leveraging the Cedar Gate data analytics tool for claims group reporting.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree
- 5 years of Reporting Analyst experience
- 9 years of experience acceptable in lieu of degree
- 3+ years of experience with Cedar Gate (IQVIA product)
- Healthcare reporting and analytics experience
- Advanced Excel
- Advanced PowerPoint
- Advanced data analysis skills
- Ability to interpret and explain complex reports to non-technical audiences
- Experience working directly with clients and account management teams
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Strong data validation skills
