Job Summary
Produce original and authoritative content focused on the status of health care in Canada, collaborating with a national editor and regional reporters. Cover regional, national, and international issues using diverse journalistic tools ranging from quick turnaround reporting to investigations, data projects, and video storytelling. Pursue a specified topic within the health care sphere to address stories that have gone unreported or unnoticed, applying creativity and a dogged approach throughout the year. Begin in September to work alongside some of the best editors in the country, delivering reporting to the Postmedia network's widest audience. This fellowship offers a unique opportunity to grow skills with Canada's busiest newsrooms, supported by funding from the Calgary Herald, Postmedia Network Inc., and the Michelle Lang Trust.
Required Qualifications
