Job Summary
The Reporter I, MultiMedia Journalist is responsible for producing, reporting, shooting, writing, voicing, editing, and feeding news content across various platforms. Key responsibilities include arranging interviews, evaluating notes, researching background information, pitching stories, and interacting with audiences on social media. Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in Broadcast Journalism or related field, two years of news reporting experience, and excellent communication skills. Proficiency in using various office equipment and the ability to work under tight deadlines are essential. Flexibility in working shifts and a valid driving license are required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Broadcast Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
- Fluency in English
- Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
- Minimum two years’ experience in news reporting
- Superior on-air presence
- Proficiency with computers and office equipment
- Ability to meet deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
- Flexibility to work any shift
