Job Summary
Unload HGVs and LCVs, break deliveries down into unit of measure, and replenish stock at our national distribution centre. Perform stock put-away, pick bulk orders, and input data for trackability while handling controlled drugs, temperature-sensitive items, and hazardous products. Operate LLOP, pump trucks, reach trucks, and VNA vehicles, maintaining a clean workspace and complying with SOPs. Work Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours, with a rotating requirement for fridge area access. Some work at height and below the knee is involved.
Required Qualifications
- GCSE grades D-G or equivalent
- Good level of attention to detail
- The ability to work accurately under pressure
- Good literacy and numeracy skills
- The ability to work with others
- Effective communication
- Act in a professional manner
- Hard-working, self-motivated and customer focused
- Looks for opportunities to improve processes and channels suggestions appropriately
- Regular manual handling of products, up to 16kg (up to 25kg in Bulk area)
- Operating LLOP, pump trucks, electric pump truck, HLOP, reach truck, counter balance and VNA
- Requirement to work in fridge area on a rota basis
- Some experience of working in a warehouse environment
Desired Qualifications
- Some experience of working in a warehouse environment would be advantageous but is not essential
