Job Summary
Replacement Sales Representative conducts in-home consultations with homeowners; explains products, design options, pricing, and services; takes measurements and develops project recommendations; prepares proposals, negotiates contracts, and closes sales; generates leads through networking, referrals, and prospecting; works showroom hours including some Saturdays; collaborates with operations on measurements, ordering, order review, and project coordination; follows projects through installation to ensure customer satisfaction and timely payment; manages customer communication before, during, and after the sale; supports occasional new construction sales opportunities as needed; participates in product training, sales development, and continuous process improvement.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 2+ years of sales experience in windows, doors, remodeling, home improvement, construction, building products, or a related industry
- Strong consultative selling and relationship-building skills
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Comfortable using computers, Microsoft Office, and pricing/ordering systems
- Strong organization, follow-through, and time management skills
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel to customer homes
