REPAIRS TECHNICIAN

Job Summary
Conduct technical repair and testing of client faulty products, including smartphones and accessories, by performing component analysis, initial screening, and quality checks to identify failure reasons. Execute repairs using hand and power tools, followed by post-repair testing and product refurbishment before dispatch. Maintain equipment through regular maintenance checks and diagnose problems with repair tools to recommend fixes. Ensure accurate data capture and tracking of repaired units, fault codes, and resolutions while conducting periodic cycle and monthly stock counts. Meet daily repair targets to ensure required swap stock availability, adhering to Kaizen 6S principles.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of Diploma in electronics engineering or relevant education
- At least 1 year of professional experience in electronics engineering with relevant repairs experience
- Ability to communicate technical information on a regular basis, both verbally and in writing
- Well versed with the various systems, tools, and procedures used in testing & failure analysis
- Hands-On experience working with embedded systems
