Job Summary

Repair Technician to perform basic level repair and maintenance of surgical instruments, including ultrasonic cleaning, buffing, shaping, and brazing, in a field-based role from mobile repair trucks. Responsibilities include servicing instruments, generating invoicing and work orders, completing daily documentation, performing Preventative Maintenance Inspections, adhering to safety and DOT regulations, and traveling within the assigned territory to customer sites and regional labs. The role involves frequent hospital site visits, potential overnight travel, and requires ability to meet flexible schedules, drive company vehicles, and operate within regulatory and customer reporting requirements.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Minimum of 1 year hands-on repair/assembly/product testing or related use of small tools OR equivalent transferable experience
  • Related certifications in technical or mechanical area or military experience may be considered toward experience
  • Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds and push carts up to 150 pounds
  • Must meet flexible schedules including early/late hours, nights and weekends as needed
  • Must be 21 years old with ability to meet FMCSA/DOT and driver license requirements
  • Must pass DOT medical/physical exam and comply with DOT regulations
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record; CDL required where applicable
