Job Summary
Repair Technician role with STERIS requiring daily travel in a mobile repair truck or in hospital settings to inspect and repair surgical instrumentation. Responsibilities include basic to intermediate repairs using grinding and buffing wheels, soldering, and various hand and power tools; work may occur in the field, in a mobile repair truck, or inside a repair lab or hospital based on customer needs within an assigned territory. Must be able to sit/stand for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs and push carts up to 150 lbs, and travel with safety and credentialing requirements. Must pass a DOT medical/physical exam, be at least 21, possess a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record (CDL not required), and be willing to undergo vaccines as required. Training is provided; extensive benefits and opportunities for advancement are offered. Open to entry-level candidates and emphasizes hands-on repair experience and willingness to learn in healthcare environments.
Required Qualifications

- Able to pass FMCSA requirements
