Repair Technician (Server)

Job Summary
Perform diagnostics and troubleshooting of computer hardware and software applications while repairing and testing products to ensure specifications are met. Repair or replace parts as necessary for servers using various tools and test equipment, and disassemble or reassemble units according to work instructions. Order correct parts using proper procedures, test units per process flows, and inspect products to ensure correct labeling. Document issues, report quality-related problems to management, and enter repair data accurately into the QMS shop floor system. Communicate repair issues to engineering and complete applicable paperwork completely. Requires six to twelve months of technical repair experience, high school diploma, and ability to lift 50 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Six (6) months to one (1) year technical repair experience in a related field
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Good visual color perception
- Able to stand, stoop and bend
- Ability to walk and stand on cement floors for long periods
Desired Qualifications
- Six (6) months to one (1) year experience in debugging and testing of electromechanical assemblies
- A Plus Certification
