Job Summary
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair POS and POS-related equipment, including terminals, printers, servers, network switches, routers, workstations, and kitchen video systems. Refurbish equipment to ensure all repairs meet RTG quality standards and meet required weekly production goals. Maintain an organized and safe work environment while collaborating with team members to support operational efficiency. Requires strong understanding of basic electronics, proficiency with hand tools, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting. Located at RTG headquarters in Fenton, Missouri.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of basic electronics and troubleshooting processes
- Proficient with basic hand tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to take direction and remain composed in a fast-paced setting
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Regular lifting and moving of items over 25 pounds
- Requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment
Desired Qualifications
- Some college coursework in an IT-related field or equivalent work experience preferred
- Solid understanding of PC hardware and troubleshooting
- Previous Point of Sale (POS) experience is a plus, but not required
