Job Summary
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair faulty electronic equipment including barcode readers, mobile computers, POS machines, and printers. Replace worn components, update firmware, and maintain cost-effective levels through efficient inventory management. Record repaired devices into the Tech Parts Inventory System and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Minimize repeat repairs and escalate issues as needed. Maintain quality standards and customer satisfaction while adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.
Required Qualifications
- Technical background in electro-mechanical devices such as printers, kiosk/ATM devices, or equivalent experience
- Associate degree and/or 2-4 years of equivalent work experience in field service or similar industry
- Basic computer skills
- Self-starter and motivated to perform effectively during times of high demand
- Use and understanding of test/lab equipment such as Voltmeters, Power Supplies, Bench Tools, Soldering Equipment, etc
- Assembly and disassembly of electronic equipment
- Troubleshooting of electronic equipment
- Exposure to limited amounts of noise
- Primary language used in daily operations is English
- Read and interpret documents, procedure manuals and various correspondence from both internal and external
- Speak effectively, both individually and before groups of both external customers and/or various levels of employees within the organization
- Able to take accountability and responsibility for business target delivery and decision making
- Lift Up to 50lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Certification in information technology or process improvement training
