Job Summary
The Repair Technician II at Symbotic is responsible for executing repairs of robots and subassemblies, providing feedback on material discrepancies, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment. Key responsibilities include studying assembly instructions, troubleshooting robotic vehicle issues, testing electromechanical components, and documenting repair actions. This role requires a High School Diploma or Equivalent, 2-4 years of relevant experience, and proficiency with schematics. Candidates must be able to lift up to 60 pounds, work at heights, and comply with strict safety protocols.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Minimum of 2-4 years of previous experience in the Machine Shop or Manufacturing Assembly Environment
- Ability to lift 60 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
- Possess an understanding of diverse types of mechanical and electrical test equipment
- Ability to manage multiple tasks
Desired Qualifications
- Proficient with different schematics and wiring diagrams
- Computer knowledge using Microsoft Windows & Microsoft Word & Excel
- Hands-on skill set
- Ability to train contractors
- Demonstrates initiative and self-motivation
