Job Summary
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and repair fitness bikes, treadmills, smart home gym systems, wine coolers, and similar products for high-end clients. Read manufacturer manuals, use hand and power tools to build products to specifications, and communicate effectively via mobile phone. Maintain your own transportation, tools, and required insurance, vehicle registrations, and DOT/MC numbers if GVWR exceeds 10,000 lbs. Comply with state laws, background checks, and drug screens as part of the contractor onboarding process. Weekly settlements are available based on volume and contract acceptance.
Required Qualifications
- Possess the skills to read and comprehend manufacturer's manuals and instructions used in repairing equipment
- Must have your own transportation to and from site of repair
- Must own hand and power tools and have the experience and mechanical aptitude to build products to manufacturer specifications
- Must have an EIN (federal tax ID)
- Comply with insurance, vehicle registrations
- DOT /MC numbers may be required for GVWR over 10,000 lbs.
- Must comply with your state laws for the vehicle being used to complete work
- Be committed to providing exceptional customer service
- Be tech savvy with a mobile phone
- Have excellent communication skills
