Job Summary
Recondition parts and equipment, test components to verify operational status, and ensure products meet quality and performance standards. Support a safe work environment by practicing safe techniques and compliance with safety programs. Assist with inventory, warehouse, and delivery preparations, including dismantling old machines and performing interior and exterior cleaning, painting, and maintenance duties. Provide phone support to field technicians and identify efficiency improvements using Lean tools. Log daily assignments via associated programs and operate as a team player. Complete assigned tasks within scheduling deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree / GED
- 1+ year of professional work experience
- Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical
- Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical testing equipment
- Operate within the corporate policy guidelines and business practices
- Results oriented and demonstrated strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills, written/verbal with internal and external contacts
- Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace or assignment of duties
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Required to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
