Job Summary
Recondition parts and equipment, test verified components for operational status, and ensure all products meet quality and performance standards. Dismantle old machines, assist with inventory and warehouse preparations, and perform interior and exterior cleaning, painting, and maintenance duties. Provide phone support to field technicians, identify efficiency improvements, and log daily assignments using associated programs. Operate within a warehouse and technical repair lab environment using standard testing equipment, hand lifts, and forklifts. Complete assigned tasks within scheduling deadlines while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to safety programs.
Required Qualifications
- High School Degree / GED
- 1+ year of professional work experience
- Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical
- Demonstrated ability in electrical / mechanical testing equipment
- Operate within the corporate policy guidelines and business practices
- Results oriented and demonstrated strong sense of urgency
- Excellent communication skills, written/verbal with internal and external contacts
- Proven ability to be organized, detailed, multi-tasker, critical thinker, accurate, thorough and a problem-solver
- Ability to adapt to change in the workplace or assignment of duties
- Regularly required to talk and hear
- Required to frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus
