Job Summary
Repair Technician needed to perform general maintenance and repairs on Air Cargo equipment (containers, pallets, nets) at the Oceanside, NY facility, following company and aviation authority rules. Responsibilities include sheet metal repair, drilling, riveting, documenting work performed, interfacing with computers/tablets, reporting discrepancies, and maintaining an organized work station; assist with upkeep of the facility and perform other duties as assigned. Must be able to use hand tools and power tools, work independently with multi-tasking and initiative, communicate effectively, and maintain safety standards. Education: High School Diploma or GED required; TIG welding experience preferred; related experience and military reservist considerations welcomed. Drug test per FAA requirements and ability to lift up to 70 pounds; ability to work in non-climate-controlled environment. Schedule: Monday–Friday; local to Oceanside, NY; overtime and weekend work may be required.
