Job Summary
Assess, troubleshoot, and repair all incoming electronic equipment while maintaining accurate records in the internal repair database. Engage directly with customers via email and phone to resolve issues and deliver effective solutions, communicating complex technical information clearly. Develop user-focused customer education materials, including manuals and quick-start guides, and deliver remote training sessions to empower customers. Analyze data from aquaculture sites to identify trends and optimize system reliability, ensuring active equipment remains continuously online. Collaborate with Sales and Engineering teams on product assembly, quality assurance, and continuous improvement initiatives. Design and implement internal procedures to improve equipment handling efficiency. This full-time role in Bedford, Nova Scotia requires at least five years of electronic repair experience and first aid training.
Required Qualifications
- At least 5 years experience in electronic repair
- Diploma or Advanced Diploma in Electrical/Electronic, Ocean technology or equivalent
- Comfortable working in an office and in the field
- Experience using software tools such as Microsoft Office, Slack, JIRA, Confluence, Salesforce and Syspro
- Experience using environmental monitoring equipment
- First aid training
