Job Summary
The Repair Tech 2 at Cubic is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining equipment in field and workshop environments, which includes operating digital and analog electronics devices and repairing assemblies to the module components level. The role involves reading and interpreting complex schematics, diagnosing and troubleshooting malfunctions, setting up and operating electronic test equipment for tests on assemblies, and maintaining tools and supplies for site maintenance. The technician will assist field personnel, perform technical tasks, maintain records, and manage the transportation of personnel and equipment. Candidates should have 1–2 years of related experience, strong soldering skills, and the ability to communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
- 1–2 years of related experience in an electronic related industry
- Soldering skill with through hole and surface mount components
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work in hectic and noisy environments
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift 50 pounds
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to travel
