Job Summary
Manage the Repair Department, its inventory, staff, and operational functions to achieve maximum profitability while delivering best-in-class guest service. Generate sales by providing top-tier equipment tuning and repair, supervise staff, and ensure proper training in repair, product knowledge, and safe working environments. Protect company assets through loss prevention techniques, maintain all paperwork per policy, and communicate company values and goals to employees. Perform tuning and repair of ski and snowboard equipment, including binding installations, while demonstrating strong leadership and multi-tasking abilities. Requires flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ski background
- Knowledge of ski and snowboarding tuning techniques
- Knowledge of alpine and snowboard binding installations
- Be able to handle machinery and properly use tuning instruments
- Minimum of 2 years experience with tuning / repair/ mounting of ski equipment
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory and leadership experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
- English fluency, written and verbal
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time and regularly lift 25 pounds
