Job Summary
Repair Specialist I for Safelite AutoGlass focuses on repairing chips and cracks in vehicle glass using industry-leading technology and Safelite’s workflows. Responsibilities include learning and applying the Safelite Way of Fitting, repairing vehicle glass, managing work orders and customer communications via the mobile resource management system, promoting Safelite promotional items, maintaining a clean vehicle and shop, safely operating company tools and vehicles, and complying with policies. Required readiness to obtain Safelite SafeTech certification, and the role emphasizes customer service, safety, problem-solving, and the use of hand/power tools and driving in varied conditions.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Valid state-issued driver’s license required
- Safelite SafeTech certification (on-the-job training/completion) required
- 18 years of age or older
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to operate tools and drive company vehicle
