Job Summary
Troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and test aircraft accessory components including pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, electromechanical, wheel, brake, and landing gear systems. Perform removal, inspection, replacement, and reinstallation of subcomponents per approved technical data and company procedures. Disassemble, clean, and test components using repair station manuals while interpreting blueprints and manufacturer documentation to solve complex malfunctions. Make entries in work order documentation and adhere to FAA, EASA, AS9110, and ISO9001:2016 standards. Requires four years of repair experience, ability to read gauges, lift up to 40 lbs., and operate ground support equipment. Periodic travel may be required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree
- Minimum four years actual and recent experience in the repair, modification, maintenance, and overhaul, testing of hydraulic
- Demonstrated ability to work well with cross-functional groups
- Must be able to see imperfections, micrometer readings and other small scales
- Must be able to operate power vehicles, machinery, hand tools, ground support equipment, forklift, etc.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, collaborative, and relationship-building skills
- Must be able to read dials/gauges, identify small objects and hand tools
- Fluent in English
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to write routine reports and document maintenance functions
- Ability to communicate effectively across mediums, audiences, and situations
- Above average mathematical skills
- Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
- Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Must be able to lift over 40 lbs. with assistance
- Periodic travel
