Job Summary
Repair, service, and build standard and custom systems for hydraulic, fluid power, electrical, and mechanical components. Disassemble, clean, and inspect parts; diagnose issues and recommend solutions to customers. Fabricate, machine, and weld necessary components while preparing job forms. Assemble new and repaired equipment, test performance, and prepare units for shipment or storage. Assist clients with technical questions, provide quotes, or take orders. Requires a valid driver's license, ability to read schematics, and physical capability to lift 100 pounds. Overtime and weekend work may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read hydraulic schematics
- Strong communication skills
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Ability to operate shop equipment safely
- Ability to work independently or in a team environment with minimal supervision
- Valid Driver's License
- Ability to work overtime and weekends
- Push/pull up to 100 pounds
- Lift/carry up to 100 pounds
- Lift bulky objects
- Neck rotation, trunk rotation, stair climbing, repetitive bending, kneeling, sustained squat, forward reaching, overhead reaching, reach and lift, ladder climb and carry, crawling
