Job Summary
Interpret machined part drawings, wiring diagrams, and service manuals while accessing assembly blueprints and engineering memos on a computer. Utilize hand and power tools to assemble large gas compression and power generation industrial engines, verifying part conformance with calipers, gauges, and micrometers. Pull parts and kit orders to prepare for sub-assembly, maintain tooling and equipment, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. Assist in identifying continuous improvement opportunities throughout the assembly process. This role is based at the Oak Creek facility in a 1st shift capacity.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- 2+ years of mechanical assembly experience
- Ability to meet physical demands of industrial engine assembly
- Ability to lift a minimum weight of 40 lbs
- Based at our Oak Creek facility in a 1st shift capacity
