Job Summary
Maintain all building related systems and the building envelope to ensure safety of hotel guests, associates, and vendors; perform preventative maintenance and complete work orders (e.g., replacing ceiling tiles, light bulbs, patching vinyl); inspect electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and other hotel equipment; service the hotel's pool and manage chemical/filters; refurbish furniture and fixtures; assist with major repairs; move furniture; respond courteously to guest questions and requests; ensure compliance with Building/Fire/Health Department codes and energy-efficiency goals; operate heavy machinery as needed; adhere to attendance and other job-related duties; effective verbal/written communication with supervisors, coworkers, and guests.
Required Qualifications
- Vocational schooling, military training, certification and/or experience in building related trades required in 1 or more areas: HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Carpentry
