Job Summary
Oversee the overall maintenance of guestrooms, public spaces, and back-of-house areas to ensure an attractive and well-maintained hotel environment. Manage daily repairs across electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and carpentry trades while maintaining five to six years of progressive experience in hotel or related fields. Utilize computer knowledge on the Windows platform to coordinate tasks and track progress. This role supports the Fairmont El San Juan Hotel's commitment to providing lively vibes and peaceful ocean views to guests near Old San Juan and Isla Verde Beach.
Required Qualifications
- High school, Vocational or Technical school graduate
- Ability to speak English and Spanish
- Computer knowledge (windows platform)
- Required experience in maintenance trades, including electrical, plumbing, mechanical and carpentry
- At least five to six years of progressive experience in hotel or related field required
Desired Qualifications
- Some hospitality experience preferred
