Job Summary
Repair Engineer at Upminster branch responsible for repairing garage doors and related products mainly at residential properties; hands-on role involving diagnosing faults, servicing and maintenance, and providing on-site customer service. Tasks include completing paperwork, maintaining company vehicle/tools, and assisting the installation team. Requires practical manual skills, problem-solving mindset, ability to work alone or as part of a team, strong customer service and communication skills, and a Full UK driving licence. Full training provided; benefits include company vehicle, pension, healthcare plan, 4 weeks holiday plus bank holidays, and opportunities to increase earnings through price work rates and commission. Hours: Mon–Fri 7:30am–5pm.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Experience within garage doors, construction, builders merchants, home improvements or trade-related industries
- Experience in servicing, maintenance or repair work
- Experience working in customers’ homes
- Mechanical or engineering experience
