Job Summary
Repairing garage doors and associated products at residential properties; diagnosing faults and identifying suitable repair solutions; carrying out servicing, maintenance and adjustments; providing excellent on-site customer service; completing relevant paperwork and job records; maintaining company vehicle, tools and equipment; assisting the installation team as required; hands-on role involving manual handling and heavy lifting; based at Sidcup branch with hours Mon–Fri 7:30am–5pm; requires a full UK driving licence and experience in garage doors or related trades.
Required Qualifications
- Full UK driving licence (maximum 3 points)
- Experience within garage doors, construction, builders merchants, home improvements or trade-related industries
- Experience in servicing, maintenance or repair work
- Experience working in customers’ homes
- Mechanical or engineering experience
- Practical manual skills
- Strong fault-finding and troubleshooting ability
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Reliable and self-motivated approach
- Good attention to detail
