Job Summary
Senior Systems Engineer for GE Vernova's Repair Development team, responsible for system-level coordination of repair programs on wind turbines, leading scoping and PRD development, contributing to requirements and trade studies, and ensuring repairability considerations are integrated into product life-cycle support. Interfaces across SVC Product Line Leader(s), Repair Technology Leader, TLs, and subject-matter experts to assess project requests; accountable for PRRs on Repair Programs; owns the Repair Capability Matrix for each platform; provides system-level direction to Repair Engineers and ensures alignment with documentation templates and lessons learned; requires ability to travel globally up to 10%, climb wind turbines, and collaborate with global teams to mitigate risks and deliver effective repair solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, Civil, or Manufacturing)
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience
- Ability and willingness to climb wind turbines and work at heights
- Ability and willingness to travel globally up to 10% of the time
- Proficiency in English (written and oral)
