Job Summary
Manage the complete repair and parts lifecycle for 24/7 autonomous vehicle operations, initiating work orders from diagnostics and assigning tasks to technicians based on skill and workload. Track vehicle downtime against SLAs, escalate stalled repairs, and verify labor and parts documentation before releasing vehicles back to the active fleet. Maintain on-site inventory of AV components and spare parts, executing receipts, cycle counts, and discrepancy reconciliation through SAP to ensure 99%+ accuracy. Coordinate parts procurement, pre-kit components for scheduled work, and manage inbound freight intake while allocating parts to active orders for billing and warranty tracking. Lead daily pass-down meetings, provide on-call mobile support for off-hours crews, and ensure cross-shift continuity regarding work in progress and safety campaigns.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field
- 2+ years of experience with Shop Management Systems (SMS) or Fleet Management Systems and with ERP systems (SAP)
- Experience creating estimates
- Experience managing WIP (Work in Progress)
- Experience with inventory transactions
- Experience with cycle counting
- Experience with reporting
- Demonstrated experience managing high-value or sensitive inventory with strict security requirements
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs unassisted
- Ability to maneuver heavy automotive components (100+ lbs) using pallet jacks, team lifts, or other material handling equipment
- Ability to stand/walk for extended periods
- Ability to operate material handling equipment
- Willingness to obtain and maintain OSHA-compliant forklift certification (sit-down/stand-up) within 30 days of hire
- Current valid forklift certification
- Prior heavy-part handling experience
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- Willingness to provide on-call support during nights/weekends
- Must reside in states registered for Flexdrive Services LLC
- Must be available for day window shifts, with hours scheduled between 6:30am - 9:30pm
- Must be able to travel between depot/warehouse/third-party sites as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with ERP or similar inventory management systems (SAP strongly preferred)
- Ability to use fleet/shop management tools for work order processing and parts consumption tracking
- Competency with mobile devices and inventory scanning equipment
- Basic Microsoft Office/Google Workspace skills for reporting
- Understanding of inventory management best practices (FIFO, cycle counting, ABC analysis)
- Experience with automotive parts nomenclature, identification, and handling procedures
- Current valid forklift certification and prior heavy-part handling experience is a plus
- Associate degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field preferred
