Job Summary
Review customer requirements for pump repairs and analyze inspection results to determine work scope with shop personnel. Plan labor hours, purchase requirements, work instructions, and total costs to generate repair quotes. Execute disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly while creating work orders, prints, and procedures. Make or review sketches and drawings to ISO standards in AutoCAD. Evaluate supplier quotations for materials, expedite parts to meet delivery commitments, and manage shipping documentation for final transportation. Coordinate repair projects to meet tender and order cycle time objectives while communicating regularly with all departments. Perform root cause analysis on pump failures and conduct engineering calculations per industry standards.
Required Qualifications
- Strong organizational, interpersonal and analytical skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Solid knowledge of all manufacturing and shop processes related to repair of pumps and manufacturing of pump parts and or closely related equipment
- Strong PC skills, with proficiency in Microsoft software
- Working experience and knowledge of ERP systems
Desired Qualifications
- Previous SAP experience
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Experience in closely related roles
- Technical knowledge of pump design and repair, and fit form and functions of components
