Job Summary
Sort damaged products and determine usable items from unacceptable goods by supplier standards. Read expiration dates to verify repack eligibility per company standards, then repackage clean, in-date product according to supplier requirements. Inventory and submit material needs to operations and brand managers to ensure timely repack supplies. Manage the repack room by purging out-of-date products and materials, maintaining a clean workspace with items three feet from electrical panels. Operate scrubbers and sweepers, clean and flush drains daily, and condense breakage to prevent floor buildup. Report repair or special needs opportunities to the operations manager.
Required Qualifications
- A high school education
- Up to and including 3 month's experience in a related field
- Internal candidates must have a recommendation from their manager or department head
Desired Qualifications
- A high school education is not required but would provide the basic skills necessary to learn the job
