Job Summary
Repair or replace items around the hotel and refurbish guest rooms while organizing supplies to ensure equipment is ready for the next day. Maintain high safety standards by following guidelines and reporting incidents or unsafe conditions, and oversee the cleanliness of areas inside and outside the hotel including the car park and pool. Follow the preventative maintenance calendar to keep everything working efficiently, act as a friendly face to guests, and keep supervisors informed about low running supplies. This role requires at least one year of maintenance experience, basic knowledge of plumbing and electrics, and familiarity with building management programs. The position pays $21.40 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- at least one year of maintenance or repair work
- high school diploma or related vocational training
- familiar with Microsoft Office, a building management programme and/or any other reporting tools like HotSos, Opera, Lutron, Bartech, or Inncom
- working knowledge of basic plumbing, electrics and preventative maintenance procedures
- Certified Pool Operator license
- meeting local laws on food handling and serving alcohol
- above the minimum age required
- fluent in the local language
- Great communication skills

- Look smart and approachable in your uniform
- Be ready to take on extra duties as and when the team needs you
Desired Qualifications
- CPO certification – if the hotel has a pool, a Certified Pool Operator license would be ideal
