Job Summary
REO (Real Estate Owned) Analyst will provide underwriting, valuation, and administrative support through eviction, pre-marketing, and closing processes for REO assets; responsibilities include coordinating with legal counsel and field vendors, reviewing valuations/appraisals, processing vendor invoices, maintaining records, and collaborating with default/servicing teams; ideal candidate has 2+ years in REO/bankruptcy/asset management, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency in MS Excel/Outlook; hybrid full-time position in Chicago.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years’ experience in REO, bankruptcy, foreclosure, or asset management
- Understanding of eviction processes, REO timelines, and closing procedures
- Strong analytical and financial skills; familiarity with valuations and vendor invoicing
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication, internal coordinators, attorneys, vendors, property managers
- Proficient in MS Excel, Outlook; experience with REO/asset management systems preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s/bachelor’s degree preferred
