Job Summary
Load and unload customer equipment, inspect gear before and after rentals, clean and fuel machinery, and stage items for upcoming reservations. Organize and maintain the rental yard while safely operating forklifts and other rental equipment. Report damage and maintenance concerns, assist with deliveries and pickups when assigned, and help keep the facility clean and safe. Cross-train in other departments as needed. This role supports Gerken Rent-All & Waters Hardware's rental operation, ensuring the fleet remains safe, clean, and ready for every customer.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 50 pounds frequently
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work safely throughout the workday
Desired Qualifications
- Valid driver's license preferred
- Mechanical aptitude is preferred
- Forklift experience is a plus (training provided)
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive attitude
