Job Summary
Operate equipment for loading and unloading customers, internal drivers, and outside haulers while following all safety procedures and using proper PPE. Perform routine checks on rental equipment to ensure safety and working condition, inspect returned assets for damage or missing parts, and complete inspection checklists. Maintain a clean, organized yard and storage areas by cleaning equipment appearance and securing assets to prevent accidents. Fill propane tanks and report any maintenance needs to the Store Manager. Provide excellent customer service and explain safe operating procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Chauffer license
- Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other yard equipment
- Mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Commitment to safety
- Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions
- Physical ability to lift, move, and handle equipment
