Job Summary
Inspect rental equipment upon return and prior to re-rental, performing advanced diagnostics and complex repairs on Caterpillar and allied machinery. Diagnose and fix mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues while executing preventive maintenance, fluid changes, and filter replacements. Document all findings and repairs, ensuring machines meet safety standards and are rent-ready to minimize customer downtime. Respond to breakdowns at job sites and support field service calls as needed. Requires ability to operate equipment, function test machines, and work overtime. Located in Oxnard with a starting wage of $33.80 to $42.22.
Required Qualifications
- One-year certificate or Associates degree from a community college or technical school
- Two to four years mechanical experience or equivalent education and experience
- Ability to operate equipment and function test machines
- Required to work overtime if needed
