Rental Technician (Class 1 Driver)

Job Summary
Receive rental equipment back to the shop and assess for missing or damaged parts. Operate and drive Class 1, Class 3, and light duty vehicles safely, conducting pre- and post-trip inspections. Secure loads within weight limits and transport equipment between stations. Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks. Fill out contracts, quotations, and shipping forms while completing necessary paperwork and logbooks accurately. Comply with company policies, transport laws, and report all incidents timely. Assist with mechanical needs, organize, and clean the yard. This role splits time between technician duties and truck driving at Cold Lake, Nisku, or Lloydminster facilities. Valid Class 1 license and 5-year commercial abstract required.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's License
- Provide a 5-year Commercial Drivers Abstract
- Proficient in regulatory DOT and NSC requirements with a strong understanding of balanced loads and weight restrictions
- Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
- Must successfully pass a 50lb physical demands test
- Positive attitude and commitment to our safety culture
- Self starter with the ability to work with minimal supervision
- Ability to lift, push, pull and carry in accordance with company polices and applicable safety legislation
