Job Summary
Manage the Ski/Snowboard Rental Department by supervising staff, training employees on binding DIN settings and boot fitting, and ensuring accurate pricing and inventory control. Lead hiring, coaching, and loss prevention efforts while maintaining store cleanliness and preparing required documentation. Open and close the store as needed and assist the manager with payroll budget monitoring and policy administration. Maintain high guest service standards through personal leadership and product knowledge. Work a flexible schedule including nights, holidays, and weekends, standing for extended periods and lifting 25 pounds.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ski and/or snowboard background
- Prior leadership experience in ski / snowboard rental operations
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be self-motivated and have the ability to multi-task
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including nights, holidays and weekends
- Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
- Must be able to regularly lift 25 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced with POS systems preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products to include Outlook, Excel and Word
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
