Job Summary
Manage daily rental and service operations at Bluffton Rentco, including scheduling maintenance, evaluating and repairing small engines and outdoor power equipment, and assisting customers with rental inquiries. Check rentals in and out daily, maintain contract files, and write rental contracts on PC programs while scheduling pick-ups, deliveries, and load/unloads. Prepare rental forms from POS systems, explain fees, and demonstrate equipment safety features. Communicate repair status to employees and store managers to ensure customer service standards. Operate a flexible schedule including Saturdays with a good driving record for deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Able to work a flexible schedule to support business needs, including Saturdays.
- Superior organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn computer-based concepts quickly.
- Capable of handling multiple tasks at one time.
- Good driving record, some delivery and pick-ups
- Knowledge of, or be able to learn about all rental equipment, including operation, application, capabilities, and limitations.
- Knowledge of routine maintenance and troubleshooting requirements of all rental equipment.
- Aptitude/general knowledge of small engines.
- Ability to perform light tune-ups, oil changes, and small parts replacement on rental equipment.
