Job Summary
Rental Sales Representative responsible for selling and renting new and used Caterpillar and Allied products, establishing new customer relationships, preparing rental and sales proposals and contracts, coordinating equipment preparation, and actively marketing product lines within the territory. The role involves customer relations, demonstrations of product advantages, updating customer data, coordinating with support staff, and maintaining knowledge through training and professional networks. Must have a high school diploma or equivalent, travel as required, and strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years’ experience in rental material handling, heavy equipment sales, and capital goods retail sales and service
- Valid Driver's License with a good driving record
- Clear, effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability and willingness to travel
